Having planned my own wedding, I understand the importance of hiring someone you can trust to photograph your day.  After the stress of planning and the wedding day has ended, your photographs should be there to remind you of the joy and love that was shared throughout the day.

About me and my style

What is your style?

I prefer to capture natural, genuine moments between loved ones.  I think the most beautiful photos showcase your connection and love.  I will provide you with posing guidance to ensure you get lovely photos, but there wont be any stiff posing.

How do you conduct yourself at weddings? What is your approach?

I am friendly and flexible. I understand that there is a plan to the day, but it might not always go accordingly and adapt as the schedule changes. I ensure that I get specific photos you request as well as many candid shots. I typically wear business casual clothing with comfortable shoes.

How many weddings do you shoot a year?

I typically shoot 20-25 weddings a year, this is to ensure my clients get excellent service.

Do you shoot alone?

Sometimes I shoot alone; sometimes I shoot with another photographer. Based on our conversation and the flow of your wedding day, I will offer my professional opinion if a second photographer is needed. Lots of clients start off just booking me and then adding a second photographer later on.

You are based in Boston, MA, are you willing to travel to shoot my event?

Absolutely! My passport is current and I live a quick 10-minute drive to Logan Airport. Say the word and I am there!

When and where do you like to shoot engagement sessions?

I think an hour before sunset is a beautiful time to take photos, the lighting is gorgeous! I'm willing to work with your schedule though to make sure we can find a time that will work for you. My preference is to learn about you as a couple, what you enjoy doing together or going, and will then make some suggestions on where we should shoot. It is completely up to you though.  I have shot engagement sessions on the beach, in the city, at a park, an apple orchard, in a reservation, and the list goes on and on!

Logistics

How do I book you?

Simple! You and I will both sign an online contract with a 50% retainer (both need to happen in order to hold your day). The retainer is non-refundable and is applied to your total package cost.  The remaining 50% of your balance is due 30 days prior to the event date. Payment plans are also available.

If I am traveling to photograph your wedding, all travel fees must be provided at the time of booking so that travel arrangements can be made in a timely fashion.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, I take all major credit cards. I also take checks, cash, and venmo.

Do you do payment plans?

Yes! I will work with you to create a payment plan that works for your finances.

Are your prices available online?

The short answer is no.  I offer packages, but would prefer to learn more about your wedding and photographic needs. Pricing can vary upon distance, time, and logistics.  If you would like to receive my pricing guide simply fill out my contact form and I will send it over!

Delivery of photos

Are the digital files included?

Every wedding package includes unlimited downloads of your digital images from an online gallery and include a print release so that you can print them anywhere and as many times as you like.

How many images do we receive from our wedding?

This truly depends on how many hours are included in your package. On average I take 4,000 images per wedding, but after the culling and editing process you can expect to receive 50-75 images per hour.

When will I receive my images?

You can expect your online gallery within 60 days of your wedding date.

What file type do you photograph in? RAW or JPEG? Can I get RAW files?

Images are shot entirely in RAW format, edited in a digital darkroom, and provided to you in JPEG format.  In short, no, I do not provide my clients with RAW files. RAW files are not a finished or usable product.
